Irene Brand Welcome to my website. 2009 is a year of celebration for me. I’ve been publishing inspirational fiction for twenty-five years. My first book (non fiction) was A Year of Programs for TODAY’S WOMEN (Standard Publishing Company) July, 1984. The programs featured twelve outstanding women of the past, a subject which grew out of my love for history and my longtime participation in our women’s group at my local church.

My second book, A CHANGE OF HEART, (August, 1984) was one of the four books Thomas Nelson Publishers, Nashville, chose to launch their Cherish/Promise romance series. Since that time, over 70 of my books have appeared in print. These include the first time printing of 45 different titles, and also the reprints in anthologies, hardback covers, and novella collections.

	Mountainneer Dreams, a 3-book anthology by authors Irene Brand, Lauralee Bliss, Yvonne Lehman will be released on or about August, 2009 by Barbour Publishing, Uhrichsville, Ohio. MOUNTAINS STAND STRONG, first published in 2007 is included in this collection.

	March BROKEN BOW, a Heartsong Presents historical with a setting in Broken Bow, Nebraska around 1890. Paula Thompson had run out of options.
